Abbey Life Assurance/Capita Group

MeanTeam has recently completed a project for Capita IT Services to assist them in the provision of a website for Abbey Life Assurance Co Ltd.

We created a series of original designs which were demonstrated to the client. The client was then able to pick desired elements from each design together with their own ideas to allow a final design to be created. We then converted the agreed design into a series of standards compliant HTML templates and Style Sheets which were subsequently passed to the Capita developers to construct the final dynamic web site.

Abbey Life is authorised to carry on long-term insurance business in the UK. Although they have been closed to new retail business since February 2000, Abbey Life continues to accept increments and increases on existing policies, and new members to some existing occupational pension schemes. Abbey Life also issue annuities in respect of holders of their pension policies at their retirement dates.
